Since June 2016 I am a Research Scientist at Amazon and I'm located in Seattle. Previously, I was a Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham, where I was part of the Computer Vision lab working under Dr. Michel Valstar. Previously I worked as a Research Associate at the Computing Department at Imperial College London, where I was part of the ibug group (intelligent behaviour understanding group), led by Prof. Maja Pantic. I hold a Ph.D. from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Computer Science, attained under the supervision of Prof. Xavier Binefa. The main topic of my Ph.D. was detection and tracking of objects using part-based models. I also hold a master's degree on Computer Vision from the same univeristy. My B.D. is in mathematics, and I completed it at the Univeristy of Santiago de Compostela, where I specialised in pure mathematics.
